On April 27th, 2024 ZGC International Technology Trade Fair of ZGC Forum, a special session on humanoid robots was held at the Beijing Zhongguancun Software Park International Conference Center.
The event was jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area Management Committee, Zhongguancun Development Group Co., Ltd., and Beijing Jingcheng Mechinery & Electric Holding Co., Ltd. (JCME). It was undertaken by Beijing Electromechanical Research Institute Co., Ltd., Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center Co., Ltd. (Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center), and Beijing Zhongguancun Technology Service Co., Ltd.
During the event, JCME organized the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center to connect upstream and downstream component suppliers and application scenario manufacturers through a mechanism of “Benchmarking Leadership.” The goal was to discover, track, and foster a group of enterprises with key core technologies and strong innovation capabilities in humanoid robots, thereby promoting the application of their new technologies and products. This initiative aims to gradually explore an efficient model for the development of China’s humanoid robot industry and accelerate the innovation and development of future industries in China. Following preliminary applications and selection processes, a total of 13 companies including Xiaomi, UBTECH Robotics, and Robot X were selected for the “Benchmarking Leadership” project.
The event carefully selected projects listed in the Top 100 New Technologies and Products of the 2024 ZGC International Technology Trade Fair, as well as outstanding projects. Six enterprises, including Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, UBTECH Robotics, Robot Era, Peitian Robot, Chietom, and Tashan Technology, showcased the latest, brightest, cutting-edge, and representative new technologies and products in the humanoid robot industry through roadshows.
